Product Development Coordinator

Job Summary

As product development coordinator, you will be working with our Product Development Lead and CEO to develop high-quality, affordable furniture. We work with factories in Asia and Europe, so you would be responsible for helping coordinate these relationships and following up with product questions and improvements. 

You will also help manage product data in our enterprise resource planning software. Your high-level organization skills and clear communication will help us develop and ship over 25 new collections each year.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of our current product catalog and new products.
  • Communicate product improvements to factories in Asia and Europe.
  • Organize and enter product data into our software.
  • Evaluate new furniture for aesthetics, reliability and cost.
  • Travel to trade shows in Las Vegas and High Point, NC; potential travel to factories and shows in Asia and Europe.
  • Improve full product life-cycle: evaluate samples and analyze sales reports.

  • 1-3 years experience in the furniture industry and/or product development. 
  • Strong understanding of furniture development, manufacturing, packaging, and freight. 
  • General computer fluency - email, Excel, etc.
  • Attention to detail and comfort with numbers.
